New Fantasy Novel: Dark & Zarus
So, you’ve released a succesful sci-fi franchise with three highly-rated novels and a story that could easily extend for five or six more books. What’s the logical thing to do? If you said, “write more books in that series,” you’re right!
So obviously we… wrote a high fantasy novel instead!
Yes, we may be bad at following the easy money. You might even say that has defined our careers to one extent or another. But what we are GOOD at is cramming fantasy books full of adventure, romance, combat, mysterious artifacts, shifting allegiances, eerie settings, near-death moments, shape-shifting horses, actual-death moments, psychic undead warriors, lizardman alchemists, and of course, angst.
If you like Lord of the Rings or Dungeons & Dragons, you’ll very much enjoy

To give you a taste, our main characters are:
DARK – A stubborn feline mistrel and diplomat in search of her clan
ZARUS – An orphaned demon warrior raised by evil monks
CASTER-9 – A protective automaton seeking his lost memories
WILFRITH – A dark gnome assassin out for treasure and glory
KHARGARAN – An avuncular dragonkin holy warrior
Better yet? We’re bringing it directly to you via Kickstarter this time! Why? Several reasons, most of which are too long to get into here and all of which would be boring.
Suffice it to say, we’ll be launching our Kickstarter campaign sometime this fall.
This is important, everybody. We haven’t run a Kickstarter in a long, long time. We will need your support early and often on this, especially you fantasy readers out there, if this book is to ever see the light of day.
